Founding Protocol Engineer
Own the protocol, from mechanism design to production code.
Role
All Perps needs an engineer who has built production onchain systems and can reason from first principles about markets, collateral, leverage, liquidations, and adversarial behavior. You will turn incomplete mechanism research into production code.
You should have
- Deep smart contract experience.
- Proficiency in Rust, plus TypeScript.
- Prior DeFi protocol experience, ideally lending, perps, AMMs, derivatives, or margin systems.
- Ability to reason about solvency, edge cases, oracle risk, and adversarial market behavior.
- Product judgment: choose simplicity when it is worth more than capital efficiency.
Strong signal
- You have shipped audited protocol code.
- You have worked on systems where bugs can lose money.
- You challenge mechanism assumptions and keep discussions practical.
